서다

1【서 있다】stand (up);rise;rise to one´s feet;get on[to] one´s feet
   종일 서 있다 be on one´s feet all day
   그는 창 옆에 서 있었다 He was standing beside the window.
   버스 안이 혼잡해서 죽 서 있었다 The bus was so crowded that I had to stand[keep standing] all the way.

원하다(願―)

desire;wish;want
   그녀는 장차 외국에서 공부하기를 원한다 She hopes to study overseas in the future.
   모든 사람은 행복과 건강을 원한다 All people desire happiness and health.
   불가능한 줄 아는 것을 원한들 무슨 소용이 있겠는가? What´s the use of wishing for things that you know are impossible?
   그것은 내가 원하는 대로 되지 않았다 It did not turn out as I wished.
